Structure of Study

The programme is adapted to students’ time availability and professional commitments. At the outset of the studies, each student works with an assigned lecturer to develop an Individual Study Plan (ISP), which reflects academic objectives and preferred pace while ensuring a transparent and well-structured progression from enrolment through to successful completion.

Lecturers are available for consultations, academic support, and assistance with specific tasks through the student’s preferred communication channels, including email, telephone, video calls, and, where appropriate, in-person meetings. This system provides not only expert guidance but also fosters personal and professional development.

Tuition may be paid either in a single instalment or through an individually arranged payment schedule.

Dietetics and nutrition, public health specialist
Graduates of the study program will gain knowledge not only in the field of healthcare management, but also in the related areas of healthcare legislation, occupational safety and health protection, quality of care, communication and ethics. Attention is also paid to alternative treatment methods that complement classical medicine. The educational program is focused on leadership, management and organizational behavior in healthcare and studying the program is suitable for all who want to bring order, meaningful rules and a fair system to the management processes in healthcare. The student will acquire the basic theoretical and practical foundations of performing a managerial function and knowledge of the methods and techniques of managerial work, both in terms of interpersonal relationships and in relation to oneself.

The student will primarily acquire the theoretical essence of strategic management and will be equipped with methodological skills for strategic management. The study module is supplemented with case studies from this area.

The course focuses on the application of economic principles in the field of healthcare. The aim is to understand the functioning of healthcare systems from an economic perspective, including methods of financing healthcare, resource allocation, cost-benefit analysis (cost-benefit, cost-effectiveness) and evaluation of the effectiveness of healthcare interventions. The course also covers topics such as health insurance, reimbursement mechanisms, healthcare market regulation, economic impacts of demographic changes and decision-making based on economic data. Students will acquire the skills necessary for the economic management of healthcare facilities and for analytical support of decision-making processes in the public and private healthcare sectors.
